Release Module – HAM.R
Sea bottom platforms and moorings mostly often require an acoustic release system for recovery. If you already use our HAM.NODE acoustic communication system, you are not in the need of investing in a separate acoustic release unit.
Our HAM.R release module adds acoustic release functionality to your HAM.NODE communication system – either in form of an upgrade or as a fault option.
The reliable working load (SWL) of our mechanic HAM.NODE release module is rated up to 5kN. By the use of an optional load amplifier frame, the SWL can be increased of up to 25kN.
The release functionality is coded. Beside the basic remote version, we offer a time-controlled release functionality which also provides a ranging functionality and further diagnostic functions.
Remote release is initiated by the topside of our HAM.NODE modem. The compatibility to any standard deck unit is provided by a firmware upgrade.
